In partnership with the Smithsonian Institution and GEER, Brightline Interactive developed and launched Mobile Missions, the first mobile companion app for the National Air and Space Museum. This 12-week pilot initiative served as the case study that ultimately informed subsequent Smithsonian digital initiatives.
While serving as product manager on this endeavor, I established OKRs, created the development roadmap, lead daily stand-ups, provided progress updates to external stakeholders, presided over our cross-functional teams, documented user stories, and devised A/B testing plans for multi-generational IOS and Android devices. We were able to launch “Mobile Missions” in the App Store and the Google play store in 14 weeks. After launch, we provided analytics reporting and analysis to Smithsonian leadership.

The Smithsonian Institution has since discontinued “Mobile Missions” and its successor app “GO FLIGHT” while they are “exploring new ways to bring amazing experiences to people everywhere, whether on your mobile device, at your computer at home, or in the classroom”.
